🐝 Beekeepers Apiaries Apiculture Standing Offer Procurement Standards BeeBridge
High-Terroir Sourcing Procurement Standards for European Apiaries
-
BeeBridge was created to protect the true taste of Europe — one hive, one harvest, one origin at a time.
-
We buy from beekeepers who understand that purity is not a trend; it’s a discipline.
-
Our role is to make sure that this discipline is rewarded fairly, protected legally, and appreciated globally.
🟡 Important Notice – A Message to European Beekeepers
We pay for craftsmanship, not volume. BeeBridge values authenticity over output. Whether you manage hundreds of hives or only one, your work matters to us.
Small beekeepers are welcome — truly.
Your rare terroirs, small harvests, and single-bloom honeys are exactly what discerning international buyers desire.
When a customer abroad learns that their honey came from a single hobbyist or a family apiary, they cherish it all the more.
Even one hive with eight frames of honey is GREAT.
That’s nearly 20 kg of pure terroir — and in our world, that is not a small thing.
We do not measure success in tonnes but in truth — the truth of origin, of craft, and of care.
Every jar, every frame, every batch tells its own story, and we make sure the world hears it.
Small batches are fine by us — rarity is our language.
1. Honeycomb Frames — Open to All
Every European beekeeper can take part in our standing offer for sealed honeycomb frames.
We buy Langstroth or Dadant wooden frames — fully sealed by the bees, clean, and free from insects or eggs of any kind.
These frames are the purest form of terroir expression: untouched, unspun, unfiltered.
Each one is a living snapshot of soil, weather, and bloom.
BeeBridge holds full export and import licenses for honeycomb frames — meaning we can take your product directly from the apiary to the world without intermediaries or relabeling.
You don’t need to process, jar, or package it. We handle that.
This program exists to make participation simple: you produce excellence; we take care of everything else.
2. Honeycomb Provenance Documentation
Location is not paperwork — it’s the signature that makes your honey valuable.
When you send us your frames, we need:
-
GPS coordinates of your apiary, accurate to at least four decimals.
-
Photographs of your hives and their environment — the flowers, trees, or mountains nearby.
-
Harvest timeline:
-
When the frames were placed empty.
-
When they were sealed and harvested.
-
These details are not bureaucracy; they are value markers.
They let us calculate the bloom cycle of your region and, in turn, set a higher price for your honey.
Floral timing and geography are what create terroir, and BeeBridge treats that information as part of your intellectual property.
The more complete your story, the more valuable your honey becomes.
3. Jarred Honey (165 g Jars) — High-Terroir Sourcing Standards
BeeBridge’s main work is with raw frames, but we also buy 165 g glass jars when they meet our sourcing philosophy.
This option is designed to reward beekeepers who already practice single-origin bottling and maintain full control from hive to jar.
Think of it as us meeting you halfway.
If you’ve already done the work to bottle your own honey cleanly and separately — we’ll buy it, label it, and deliver it to the highest markets.
Our Standards for Jarred Honey
-
Single Apiary. One beekeeper, one place, one floral voice.
-
Single Season. No mixing between spring and summer harvests.
-
Single Flavor. No blending across flowers or landscapes.
-
Glass Only. 165 g jars with clean new lids, no branding or stickers.
-
Cold Extraction. No heating, no pasteurization, no fine filtration.
Each jar must tell one clear story — of bloom, soil, and time.
We value differences, not consistency. Honey should surprise you, not repeat itself.
How We Reward Excellence
-
Frames Program: For those who want a simple path — BeeBridge handles all packaging, certification, and export. You just produce the honey.
-
Jarred Program: For those who already package their own harvest with care — we buy, relabel, and distribute.
Next Harvest with BeeBridge Wooden Frames:
For those who prove consistent quality — BeeBridge will supply Japanese Cypress wooden frames free of charge for the next season. Beekeepers using BeeBridge Cypress Frames will receive a higher base price for identical honey, in recognition of their commitment to origin.
We meet every beekeeper where they are — and raise them higher with every harvest.
