Description
Produced in the Lake Como region of Lombardy, Morbidella is a traditional Italian washed-rind cheese crafted from cow’s milk. During maturation, the rind is carefully washed to encourage the development of its characteristic orange exterior and rich aromatic profile.
Beneath the rind lies a smooth, creamy paste with buttery, savoury and lightly earthy flavours. While the aroma becomes increasingly pronounced as the cheese matures, the interior remains remarkably balanced and approachable, making it suitable for a broad range of cheese lovers.
Its 700g wheel provides an excellent format for cheese counters, gourmet retailers and restaurants wishing to portion fresh artisan cheese while showcasing an authentic regional specialty from northern Italy.
BeeBridge supplies Morbidella as part of its curated portfolio of premium Italian artisan cheeses for importers, wholesalers and foodservice professionals throughout Japan, Taiwan and South Korea.
